Advance Electrical Corp was established in 1974 – they have grown from a small commercial electrical firm to a mid-size organization with 30+ employees over the last 48 years. Our guest speaker during PI Midlantic’s final monthly webinar of 2022 is AEC’s President and owner, John Dell’Oro. John purchased the company roughly 25 years ago and has led the company since then. John was first introduced to the Predictive Index through a team strategy session. One of the challenges within Advance was the communication amongst team members. This is what first prompted John to look at PI as a resource for solving this problem. Aside from using the hiring and development tools the PI has to offer, John has made great strides in promoting overall self-awareness within the organization and helping to improve how team members interact with one another. This will be Advance Electrical’s 3rd year since implementing PI, and this is John’s story.
