Melanie Wood

Melanie Wood is a certified behavioral specialist and seasoned corporate trainer. From executive development and team building to strategic optimization, Melanie has been the go-to trainer for corporations worldwide due to her ability to increase engagement and morale, improve leadership effectiveness and maximize production. She has been the "Associate of the Year" and “Trainer of the Year” for PI Midlantic and “High Potential Associate” for The Predictive Index. Training for Fortune 100 and 500 companies as well as small entrepreneurial start-ups, utilizing her continuing training in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the PI behavioral system, Melanie helps companies build their teams from “Hire to Retire.”

Melanie works with organizations globally to more effectively understand their teams, increase self-awareness, and elevate leaders. A keen strategist adept at building employee trust, her ability to identify and satisfy the needs of customers, regardless of industry, is what allows her to maintain 100% employee retention year after year.

Melanie takes an active interest in her community and the various industries in which she works; her affiliations have included: Vice President of the Sacramento Claims Association, Director of Marketing for the Southern Nevada Claims Association, Director of Marketing for the Bay Area Professional Relocation Managers (BAPRM); a member of the Association of Contingency Planners; membership committee for the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce and Ambassador with the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.

Melanie currently lives in Chesapeake, VA with her active-duty FMF Navy Corpsman husband.
